We want to make sure that your leather bag can last a lifetime, and so in addition to having them be made carefully by hand, we want to show you how to care for your bags once you receive them. Our unique bags deserve a good life, and so we do our best to give you all the helpful information to allow them to flourish :)
Put a reasonable quantity of items in the bag and remove them after being done with it.
Occasionally wipe away dust and loose dirt with a microfiber cloth.
Keep the bag away from sharp objects that could cause scratches
Apply leather conditioner to your bag at least once a year to make sure that it stays healthy and does not become dry or cracked.
Keep your bag in areas with a reasonable cool temperature. Avoid leaving your leather in a hot vehicle
Be careful- an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
Real leather should stay dry- be sure to take an umbrella with you if you plan to take your bag out in the rain.
Never attempt to machine wash your leather bag, iron it, or fully submerge it.
Leather maintenance is a time to make decisions about your bag that affect the manner in which they age.
If you wish to apply polish to one of our leather bags, start by applying the product in a small and hidden area to test how the bag reacts.
Store your leather bags away from sources of heat and direct sunlight.
Direct sunlight can cause fading and heat can damage the leather as well as other binding materials in the bag.
If water is spilled on the bag carefully dry it with a clean and dry cloth as soon as possible.
If the bag was left in the rain or is significantly wet, leave it out to dry naturally, using heat to dry it could damage the leather.
If anything is spilled on your bag blot it quickly with a clean microfiber cloth.
